About The Teacher
This is my tenth year as a Montessori teacher and my seventh year at John Hanson. When I am not at school I enjoy reading, visiting my loved ones, and long walks.

"Education should no longer be mostly imparting of knowledge, but must take a new path, seeking the release of human potentialities." ~Dr.Maria Montessori My mission as a language arts teacher is to guide the students in understanding the power of language and communication. By providing them with many opportunities to strengthen their communication skills, I hope to assist the students in achieving a better understanding of themselves and the world around them, thus aiding them on their journey toward fulfilling their human potential.
