Can students wear Flip Flops in the lab area?

No, Students are required to wear shoes that enclose the foot.
Footwear such as Crocs are considered to be appropiate by me.
Sneakers are also excellent because of their anti-slip qualities.
High heels and platform shoes would not be appropiate for my
classroom.

Is protective eyewear provided by the school?

Yes, I have a full class set that I keep in a sanitizing cabinet. If
your child has an eye infection please tell me so I can issue your
child their own set of eyewear. If you want your child to have their
own pair of eyewear just add 3 dollars to the project fees. I hope
to establish a mind set with students to always thinking of safty.
Not just in the classroom but also at home.
