For the week of January 4, 2010.
Busy week this week now that we are back. A day students have some catching up
to do. Pangaea posters should be in. Returned tests need to be corrected and
signed. Science Project guidelines need to be signed. All students need to
take the "Topic Selection Wizard" on sciencebuddies.org to begin the process
of choosing your project. We'll continue in our book in Chapter five with
sections one and two this week.
Remember our routine as we read our book.
First I read the section. Second, you read the section and take notes
using the "As You Read" strategy. Then you have questions to answer.
Following the questions you will complete a "Review and Reinforce." After the
Review and Reinforce, you will take a short quiz, "How Well Did I Read?" At
the end of each chapter there will be a chapter test!
