The 2009-10 school year will be my 7th year teaching at Lime Kiln Middle
School and my 16th year of teaching overall. This is my 9th year in Howard
County.
My first year, I split my time at Laurel Woods Elementary School and
Stephens Forest Elementary School. My 2nd year in the county I spent full
time at Laurel Woods Elementary School...I then moved here to Lime Kiln.
Before I came to Howard County I taught for 7 years in the Catholic
Schools of Baltimore. Over these 7 years, I taught at:
St. Augustine, St. Dominic, St. Pius X, Immaculate Conception, Sacred Heart
of Mary, Shrine of the Sacred Heart, Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, St. Mary -
Govans, St. Michael - Overlea, St. John the Evangelist - Hydes, St. Margaret -
Bel Air. Holy Spirit School. As you can guess, I was at numerous
schools for any given year. I would travel to different school(s) daily and
teach band classes.
I was a Music Education Major at West Virginia University and graduated
with my Bachelor of Music in December 1992. I earned my Master's Degree in
Music Education at Boston University.
I was a member of the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps from Rosemont, Illinois
in 1989, 1990 and 1991.
Go O's!
If you learn only what you're taught...you haven't learned anything at all.
