TAG met on November 20. PROGRESS REPORTS HAVE NOT BEEN SIGNED AND RETURNED
BY FIVE (5) CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"First in Math" points earned were discussed and treats were given to the
1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place highest points for each grade level, IF they
earned any points since the last time. Three (3) people have still earned 0
points and the TAG office may remove their chance to use this program and
give the subscription to another student in another school.
Junior Great Books -- Today we had Session 5 in JUNIOR GREAT BOOKS. For
Session 5, we did the writing element of the story where we imagined a
conversation between the crow in the story "The Magic Listening Cap" and any
other animal that we chose.
"Structures" -- Some graded work was returned. Next time we meet, we will
begin Lesson 3 where we will be assigned to a construction crew and
challenged to make a structure out of various materials.
Independent Study Booklet -- Continue p 3 for homework by choosing one thing
from p. 2 and then fill out what you already know, what you want to find out,
and how you will find out about it. Be prepared to share your topic choice.
Also, look at product possibilities on page 4.
TAG students usually obtain resources during the holiday break, BUT due to
budget cuts the Public Library will be closed.
On April 23, the Independent Study Project is due.
On May 7 the completed Independent Study Booklets are due with ALL signatures
