Students who are approved for ACT “special testing” or SAT “school-based
testing” will take the exam at McLean on a school day arranged with Ms.
Serota.

Recommendations:
1. Everyone take the PSAT in October.
2. Take the SAT and/or ACT in March, April, or May. Consult with Ms.
Serota to determine which test is best for you.
3. Most students should take a second SAT or ACT in June or fall of the
senior year.
Pay attention to college requirements – some require the SAT II tests. June
is the best time to take subject tests that corresponded with a class you
are taking this year. Consult with Ms. Serota about timing if this applies
to you.
