Welcome back to school! No homework in Latin will be assigned for the evening of September 2nd (first day of school). Over the evening of September 3rd both students and parents (of 7th and 8th graders) need to review the syallabus handed out in class today and sign it. It needs to be returned to class tomorrow.
Grade Eight
Friday, September 4th: Complete sections 1.1 and 1.5 in Latin workbook for class.
Monday, September 8th: Review 15 Vocabulary words-amicus, mercator, salutat, circumspectat, cubiculum, magnus, navis, portat, respondet, coquit, mendax, pecunia, agricola, ambulat, and audit for quiz in class. Students must know the defintion and an English derivative.
Grade Seven
Friday, September 4th: Translate lines 1 through 4 on page 7 into English in your composition book for class.
Grade Six
Tuesday, September 9th: Color the picture of Athena for class.
