All Literature Classes: 

FIND a book to read independently for the first book report (BR).  Due dates will be announced on Monday.  I need to approve your book selection, so remember to bring the book in to show me. 

READ your book.  BRING it to class on Monday so we can determine your time-management plan.

READ about your mulitple intelligences from the first pages of your packet.

CREATE your pie chart if you are comfortable using the Excel program.  I have listed the directions below:

Step 1.  Go to Microsoft Excel

Step 2.  Enter data in the first two columns (In Column A, type in the name of each Group, Verbal/Logical/Visual etc. In Column B, type in the percentages that you calculated for each group)

Step 3.  Highlight this information

Step 4.  Click the icon for charts (It looks like colorful fingers)

Step 5.  Select Pie

Step 6.  Select "Next" and then again "Next"

Step 7.  In the "Title" category, enter "Your Name's Multiple Intelligence Chart"

             In the "Legend" category, select the placement for your legend (ex. right or bottom)

             In the "Data labels" category, select "percentage"

Step 8.  Select "Next"

Step 9.  Select "New Sheet"

Step 10.  Select "Finish" and print on a colored printer.  If you do not have one at home, save this chart on  your flash drive and bring it to class to print off of my classroom printer.
