TFK magazine comes home...worksheet due by Friday
TUESDAY: Reading, Math, Spelling
WEDNESDAY: Reading, Math, Spelling
THURSDAY: Reading, Math, Spelling,
FRIDAY: TFK due, Spelling Test
Students may receive between two and four subjects a night. Each student is
responsible to complete and return all homework the next day. In math, all
work must be shown on the worksheet or on an addition sheet of paper.
Each night the homework assignment book should be signed by a parent
acknowledging that the homework has been completed. Homework does not need to
be checked by a parent. If a student has difficulty with a concept or
content, please write a note in the parent’s section of the planner or e mail us.
READING
Each student is encouraged to read at least 20 minutes a night, in addition
to assigned work. This may include Times for Kids (TFK) or "Book-It"
(information can be found in the Back to School Night Packet) which will
come home at the beginning of the month.
BOOK REPORTS
At the beginning of every month information about a book report will be sent
home in the YELLOW Thursday folder. This book report should be submitted at
the end of each month or the beginning of the next month. Students should be
prepared to present both the written report and the project.
