| As the Middle School Learning Specialists, we work with students in grades 5-
8 who are in need of additional academic support. The support is offered by
providing short and long-term intervention plans and strategies that can be
implemented within the classroom and at home. We work in collaboration with
teachers, families, administrators, and support staff and outside providers
in deciding how to best meet and service the various academic needs of the
individual students. When necessary, we will work individually with
students who are struggling with organizational issues and adjusting to the
academics demands of middle school.
