CONGRATULATIONS!!!

The artwork will be on display at the Barnes & Noble Book Store, Annapolis Harbor Center,

Annapolis, MD from December 1, 2007-January 3, 2008

A reception to honor the student artists and their teachers will be held at Barnes & Noble on December 12 between 5:00-7:00 pm.

All grades are exploring a variety of media in the Art Room. These include tempera paint, oil pastels, foil relief, construction paper, crayons, markers, and colored pencils. Grades 1-5 are learning how the Elements of Art are used by famous artists such as Henri Matisse, Vincent van Gogh, Monet, and Pablo Picasso.

In December, the primary grades will focus on art that celebrates the seasons and holidays. The intermediate students will continue to focus on the art and styles of famous artists. Mixed media will be used and exploration into painting techniques will be emphasized.
