About The Teacher

  This is my fourth year teaching art at Millersville Elementary. I've been 
very involved with on-going fundraisers for the Promethean boards.  I was an 
integral part of "Art to Remember" program which provided student produced 
artwork on products that many of our parents purchased.  I participated in 
the Polar Bear Plunge on April 13th. And yes, the water was "cold!!" This 
event was alot of fun.  I will be teaching an exciting art project to the 5th 
grade students at Arlington Echo on Sept 27-28. This is an integral part of 
their annual field trip.    
  I look forward to an exciting year at Millersville.

The Millersville Elementary School Artroom is a place whre children learn 
and 
interact in a hands on environment. 

Learning about ART and art making processes are important in discovering the 
impact of the arts in everyday life. 

Students are presented a comprehensive curriculum which includes art 
production, artistic media, historical and cultural art aspects, and art 
appreciation.
