Spelling Homework
Monday
Write your words three times each.
Once in pencil, once in crayon, once in marker.
Tuesday
Write a short rhyming poem using words 1-10. Your poem could be silly. Be
creative!
OR
Use each word (1-10)in a well-developed, 5th grade sentence.
Wednesday
Draw and color a picture using words 11-20. Hide your 10 spelling words in
your picture. Your picture should demonstrate that you understand the
meaning of the word.
Thursday
Write all of your words in ABC order and color in all the vowels.
Study for a test on Friday.
Math is assigned daily. Math homework might differ per teacher. Students
should copy their math homework into their planners during math class.
Reading logs should be completed at least 4 times per week. Each student is
expected to read at least 15 per night. Please make sure to have your child
complete the reading log and return it to school by the end of the month.
