We will be beginning topic 8. This topic is on Geometry.

• The students will identify plane shapes and solid figures.
• The students will identify sides and corners.
• The students will determine the difference between a slide, flip and turn.
• The students will determine if an object shows symmetry.
• Students will count the number of flat surfaces and vertices

The students will apply a strategy such as drawing a picture, guessing and checking, finding a pattern and writing an equation.
