Anne Arundel County Public Schools uses Envision Math, a product of Scott Foresman. The math curriculum is technology driven, interactive, and very hands on. Each unit begins with a topic opener game, an interactive math story, and lesson. Each lesson starts with an interactive Problem of the Day and Daily Review pulling skills and strategies previously taught into the new lesson. All lessons are very engaging to students. Colorful worksheets are often used informally to assess their understanding of the new skill. They will complete part of the worksheet through guided practice with the class and the rest independently. Some sheets will be sent home blank to be used for home practice.
