The beginning months of the new year will see instruction in understanding the Dewey Decimal System, taking notes, utilizing a Dictionary and World Almanac, and alphabetizing words. We will also continue reading the books chosen as candidates for the 2008-09 Maryland Black-Eyed Susan award. The older students will begin reading the 4-6 Grade chapter book candidates for the 2008-09 Black-Eyed Susan award. Reminders: · The Library Media Center is in need of volunteers!
