The beginning months of the new year will see instruction in understanding
the Dewey Decimal System, taking notes, utilizing a Dictionary and World
Almanac, and alphabetizing words.
We will also continue reading the books chosen as candidates for the 2008-09
Maryland Black-Eyed Susan award.
The older students will begin reading the 4-6 Grade chapter book candidates
for the 2008-09 Black-Eyed Susan award.
Reminders:
· The Library Media Center is in need of volunteers! Please come and
help the Media Center be all it should be in order to meet the needs of all
our students at Millersville!
· Sign children up for their own library card at the local public
library.
