About Mrs. Pickens

Mrs. Pickens grew up in Virginia and moved to West Virginia when she was a teenager. She has two sisters, who live in Florida (where it is warm and wet!). Her mom also lives in Florida, and her dad and step-mother divide their time between Virginia and Florida.

She received an undergraduate degree from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and a Master's degree from Loyola College in Maryland. She lives in Davidsonville, Maryland with her husband, three children, and two mischievous dogs, Lilli and Lance.

Mrs. Pickens has been at Millersville Elementary for one year and plans to remain at Millersville for many years to come!.
