I am privileged to say I have been teaching at New Covenant Christian School
since 1999, its charter year. Our school was so small back then but even now
it still feels like family to me. My daughter, Kelsey - now in 8th grade, was
one of the charter students in my Kindergarten class. I could tell you many
stories about that year. I taught Kindergarten for four years after working
as the Administrator of the Preschool for 2 years.
Then I began teaching 2nd grade and I am currently teaching my 5th year. I
truly enjoy this age and I love my curriculum, especially Ancient Egypt!
I live in Laurel Valley with my two teenage daughters, Katie and Kelsey.
Katie is attending Patterson Mill High School and Kelsey is in our Upper
School here at New Covenant.
In my spare time I love to work in my garden, read a book, or go thrift
shopping with my girls.
My mission for the class is that they would not only grow academically and
physically, but spiritually as well. I aim to instill all the knowledge and
Godly wisdom their brains can hold yet at the same time help them gain
understanding through the truth of His Word.
