I absolutely love teaching Kindergarten. This is my third year of teaching
the Kindergarten class at New Covenant. Previously, I was the preschool
teacher of the 3's class for two years and the aide for two years prior to
teaching. Five and six year old children are so full of life. Questions,
comments, giggles and yes, tears. They love to learn and I truly love
teaching them not only academics but about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
My husband, Ken and I have been married for twenty five years. We have two
children, David (18)and Daniel who is 12 years old. I cannot forget to mention
my other two babies,Renie and Riley, my beagles! They keep me busier than two
children ever did!!

My mission for the class is for them to open their hearts completely to the
Lord. Upon doing this they will be eager to learn more about the world around
them. Reading is key to this year. They will all be reading at the end of
this year. It may be at different levels, but it will be reading!
God loves order as evidenced by His creation, so the children will learn
to love order in all they do here in school. Neat
coathooks,desks,appearance,and handwriting will be expected and they will
learn to feel good about the sense of well being that order brings to our
lives.
