Organizing and Publishing Brochures, Newsletters, or Web Paages

In this step, you and your partner will use the facts and details gathered
from your research and readings to create a brochure, newsletter, or Web
page with 3 story headings or sections: the obesity epidemic, its causes and
effects, and tips for prevention.
You must have at least 3 sources cited from your research and readings in
your informative piece. That's one source for each story heading or
section. You must also include at least 5 vocabulary words in the content
of your project.
First, look at the scoring rubric for each one so that you
can plan and organize details in your publication wisely.
Next, look at the templates for each. Click the links by topic below to see
the templates. Discuss with your partner how to make changes in the details
of the template so that your project will be on the topic of obesity.

Which template design did you choose? Now, you and your partner will
complete your informative publication. Open the template design and add
your details. Before you save your work on your computer, type in a file
name with both of your names and the title of your publication. Save your
work in "My documents" on your computer.
Click "step 5" on the navigation bar at the top of this page to go to the
next step.
