 PLANNING
Good planning is the secret to any teacher's success. A lack of planning will be evident to not only you but to anyone who observes you, coteaches with you, or learns from you. Below are some links and resources that hopefully will help to streamline the planning process for you.
Planning should always start with national, state, and local standards.
NCTE/IRA Standards - English/Language Arts - on the left-hand side is a section where you can download the standards
NCTM Standards - Mathematics
ISTE Standards - Technology
Maryland State Curriculum
Any standards or curriculum/pacing guides that you may use, I would advise downloading onto a flash drive so that you don't have to drag lots of heavy books & binders between home and school. This will also save a few trees.
