Congratulations to Sean Walsh and Shannon
Marsh, our class spelling bee winners. They will be competing against the
winners from the other classes for the 4th grade school title.
Dear Parents,
My class are out of Kleenex, paper towels
and we can always use additional snacks like pretzels or Goldfish. We are
going to need black fine tip permanent markers. We will be using the markers
on the final copy of our Treasure Books before we send them off to be
published. Fine tip colored markers (don't need to be permanent) would also be
appreciated as well. As always, thank you for your continued support. You guys
are the best!
Math:
Writing Decimals in Expanded Form worksheet. Students
need to practice their multiplication/division facts online. FBI's are
given on Wednesdays and Math quizzes are given on Thursdays. The math homework
is for my math class only.
Social Studies:
We are studying Maryland's geographic features and its resources.
Reading:
Students are to read at least 20 minutes per night.
Six book reports are due each quarter. Book reports are available in
the classroom or can be downloaded from this website. Please
ask your child how many book reports they have completed so far this year!
Word Study:
Packets were handed on February 2 and the test will be given on Friday,
February 12. Wordly Wise Lesson 8, A - D will be due on Friday, February 5.
