The Relay Elementary School STEM Fair will be held on Wednesday evening, March
19, 2008. Judging will take place March 17-March 19. All projects must be in
school by 9:00 AM on March 17th.
Working Lunches are available for students who would like additional help
with Math. I am finding that students have gaps in their conceptual
understanding of fractions. These gaps can cause difficulty for the students
when they begin solving problems with fractions.
Students have the opportunity to conduct research for their STEM Fair
projects each morning in the Relay Library Media Center at 8:00 AM. Mrs.
Stevenson has provided all 4th and 5th grade students with a permission slip
they must bring with them.
