Math book should be covered
Supplies should be in school
Have a parent initial page in agenda
Homework is usually assigned on all weeknights. It will be a very rare
occasion that students do not have homework. If that occurs, it will be
noted in the agenda book -- right next to the thunderbolt!
Students should develop the habit of studying for a brief period every
evening. In Math, that could be reviewing new vocabulary or basic facts. In
Science and Social Studies, it will definitely be working with vocabulary
words and reviewing class notes. Check the Student Skills page for studying
suggestions.
Tests will be announced at least a week in advance, and projects will be
announced according to the time expected to complete the particular project.
The due dates for projects and test dates will be listed on the actual date
on the calendar also.
