SOCIAL STUDIES:
We are currently on Chapter 2 : Natural Maryland
We have been talking about and practicing our map skills. We will take a look
at the geographical features of the state of Maryland. We are also working on
Measuring and Map Scales as a cross curricular concept with Math. Review
those times tables.
SCIENCE:
There will be a Chapter 5 test on Friday. Look for a Study Guide on Tuesday.
Good study habits:
Review Vocabulary
Review the Red Questions at the end of each section in the text.
Each Lesson has review questions.
There is a Chapter 5 Review in the text book.
This Chapter in is Section C the Earth Sciences pp. C1 through C 30(I think)!
There were two lessons and the children should have a graded outline to
review for each lesson.
