for additional information.
Keep drilling the facts: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
even though we aren't currently working on these.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
We have started Two Digit Multiplication. Unfortunately, I still have
students that haven't mastered and are very slow with their basic facts.
Please keep practicing facts. If your child resists using flashcards, I have
shown them how to drill facts with a deck of playing cards.
Two and Three Digit Multiplication also involves addition. The students need
to accurately add the two partial products.
Lack of accuracy will make an entire problem wrong no matter how well they
understand the concept.
