Read Chapter 1, pps. 10-16. Make sure to give your parents the course 
expectations and have signed before Tuesday, Sept. 8.  Room 203, 6 more need 
to bring in Health cards tomorrow. Thanks to the 14 who did bring in the 
cards today.

9/3  I only need two sets of Health cards. Thanks for your prompt response.  
Vocabulary preview due tomorrow.  Please use the term on the blank and not 
the number.  It will make it easier to study.

9/4  Signed copy of the class procedures due Tuesday, September 8.  If you 
do not have a copy look under Study Guide on my website.

9/8  Complete Lesson 1, Hunters and Gatherers in your packet.  Quiz on Lesson 
1 on Friday.

9/9  Complete Lesson 2, Early Farmers in your packet.  SStudy for your Quiz 
as well.

9/10  Study for your quiz on Lesson 1, chapter 1.  Quiz on Lesson 2, on 
Tuesday, Sept. 15, and Lesson 3 on Thursday, Sept. 17.  Test on Chapter 1 on 
Tues., Sept. 22.  Study Guide will be given next week.

9/14  Study for your quiz.  You are responsible for vocabulary and places and 
terms, reviewing your packet vocabulary and Lesson 2 and notes taken in class.

9/15  Complete Lesson 3 in your packet for Chapter 1.  Due tomorrow.

9/16  Study Lesson 3 in packet, Voc. list 17-20 and know the Cave of Hands, 
Lascaux, Altamira and Chauvet, times and where located.  Also how did they 
make paint and what did they paint.

9/17  Finish the packet, Parallel Time Line and Vocabulary Crossword.  Work 
on study guide, due on Monday.

9/18  Study for test.

9/21  Test tomorrow.  Please review your Study guide which we went over in 
class today.  Remember to use new vocabulary when writing short answers.  
Artifact Project given today.

9/22 Start to work on your artifact project.

9/23  Read Lesson I, Chaper 2, PPs. 34-39 and answer questions 1-5 in your 
notebook.

9/24 Do Vocabulary Preview page and Lesson 1 page, Cause and Effect for 
Chapter 2.

9/25  Work on your Artifact Project.  I will bring in leather on Monday.

9/28  Discuss the Supreme Court with your parents.

9/29  Quiz on Section 1 on Thursday, Oct. 1.  Read Lesson 2, Chapter 2 and 
fill in page on Lesson 2 in your packet.

9/30  Study for your quiz.

10/1  Quiz today, no homework

10/5 Questions 1-4 in notebook p. 46

10/6 Make sure questions are answered from yesterday.

10/7  Quiz Friday, Lesson 2, chapter 2

10/8  Quiz Friday, Lesson 2.  Review packet Lesson 2, study your vocabulary 
and notes and the questions at the end on the section.

10/13  Review all notes we took in class today.  Quiz on Lesson 3 on 
Thursday, October. 15.  Do WB.page on Lesson 3 in your packet.

10/14  Review everything from yesterday's homework for the quiz.  Go over the 
Code of Hammurabi paper too.
