St. Bernadette School Art Program Mrs. Gutierrez Welcome St. Bernadette Families, The art program here at St.Bernadette School gives students from kindergarten through eighth grade access to art resources. Students learn that art is a reflection of God’s glory manifested through all types of media. Students learn about the history of art and they learn to recognize artists and styles of art while building confidence in their ability to use a wide range of media. They use established procedures and are taught to maintain a positive attitude for their own creative ability and to respect that of others. Students also learn responsibility while caring for and cleaning their art room and supplies. Please check the art website weekly to find out about announcements, homework, etc. http://TeacherWeb.com/MD/StBernadetteElementary School/MrsGutierrez or e-mail me at gutierrez@st-bernadetteelem.com. Thank you. Eighth Grade students are invited to the art room during lunch recess to work on research/art projects. Please sign up on the sheet outside of the art room - your name and your teachers name please. I will not be available on Fridays.
