9/11 Quiz on Chap.1-1 Wed.,9/16. Will include vocab matching and the
scientific method applications. Students will have to write from memory the
steps to the scientific method.
9/21 Quizzes and graphs returned today. Finish notetaking 1-2.
9/23 Read pg. 20 in text book. Choose a scientist from that page and google
and print info on their experiment on spontaneous generation. You do not have
to write info in your own words. Quiz next Tues, on sections 1-2 and 1-3.
9/24 Complete Redi side only of worksheet given out today.
9/25 Quiz on 1-2 and 1-3 on Tues. Study scientist in notes or book, pg. 20,
important dates listed in notes about early creation of universe etc., needs
of and characteristics of living things.
9/28 Quiz tomorrow on 1-2,1-3. Know scientist from pg. 20, features of life
from 1-2 and age of 4 objects written in classnotes. Chapter test perhaps as
early as this Fri.
9/29 Finish notetaking 1-4.
9/30 Work on worksheet given out today. Just the grouping of funny shapes and
location of states on homework book map. The rest we will do in class
tomorrow.
10/1 Try to finish classification key on the states in pencil. We will
finish/correct tomorrow.
10/5 Chapter 1 test tomorrow. Study notes, vocab, scientist, features of
life, and order of classification.
10/6 Read sec. 2-1. Think about cell project.
