December 3, 2009 WRITERS WORKSHOP REMINDER: Students, per the request of Mrs. Gretschel, please remember to take your Writers Workshop folder to class each week. Also, for next week, be sure to be prepared for class with THE 8 necessary ingredients for your own perfect Christmas. She will then discuss with you how to write about these ingredients in the form of a set of directions so that you end up with "A Recipe for the Perfect Christmas!" Your ideas are to be recorded on looseleaf paper or in your Writing Journal. Last, but not least, if you have not returned the letter that Mrs. Gretschel sent home at the end of first quarter informing your parents about what has been accomplished in the workshop first quarter, please get that signed and returned to her ASAP! If you kept today's grammar assignment to look over one more time to be sure that you have written subordinate CLAUSES WITH A SUBJECT AND A VERB, be sure that you turn that assignment in to me tomorrow. December 10, 2009 Be sure to complete the Unit 5 exercises in vocabulary (except for page 64) by next Monday. The test on A CHRISTMAS CAROL is on Tuesday.
