Your acrostic identifying the significant details from the second excerpt of
GROWING UP is due on Monday. Remember, the acrostic serves as the summary of
the selection and should only contain important details from this selection.
You need to choose a phrase or a name from the story that will allow you to
identify a MINIMUM OF 12 deatils.
For tomorrow, you should have completed #3,4, & 5 on p. 467 in the grammar
book from Ex. 6 AND the responses to the questions handed out in class today.
Also, be sure to write a short definition for each of the vocabulary words
to the story.
Finally, if you have not done so, please turn in your "Recipe for the Perfect
Christmas" to Mrs. Gretschel ASAP. You can leave it in the slot on her door
if you want to turn it in before class next week.
