I have taught in the diocesan school system for 30 years. This is my 30th
year teaching in Catholic education. I enjoy patterns in mathematics and
hope to encourage my students to see that Math can be fun.
Geometry is also a favorite especially the artistic tendencies. The sixth
graders go on a scavenger hunt on the National Mall to see geometry in
architecture, nature and art.
I hold a Md. State Dept. Of Educ. certificate for grades 1-6 and Middle
School with an additional certification in grades 7-9 Mathematics.
I have been married for 39 years and have a 29 year old son.
My class mission reflects the St. Bernadette School mission. I believe that
all students can be successful with the standard-based curriculum provided by
the ADW.
