I was born and raised in Maryland, and attended Our Lady of Mercy, Georgetown
Visitation, and then off I went to the University of Colorado! Go Buffs!
As a new teacher, I am really happy to be teaching Physical Education to all
the children at St. Jude School. I have been an athlete all my life and
really love all types of sports and activities. I competed in the junior
olympics in swimming when I was 11, through Curl Burke swimming. I played
four years of Varsity lacrosse, one as team captain at Visitation. As I
moved into college, I spent more and more time up in the mountains where I
snowboarded competitively in slopestyle competitions on the CU Snowboard
Team. Now, here I am back on the East Coast and happy to be closer to
my family and great friends, and of course the Redskins :)! On my spare
time, I like to hang out with friends and my dog Gus, play tennis, read
InStyle, and travel to new places.
More importantly - I am very excited for a fun-filled year of sports and good
health!!
* Bachelor Degree - University of Colorado
* Certificate in health counseling: Institute for Integrative Nutrition-

In P.E. this year, the mission is to challenge each student to reach their
own physical goals, as well as develop athletic skills in various types of
activities and sports. We will be learning about physical education through a
very integrated curriculum, where we have fun with heart health, muscle
building, motor skills, teamwork, and athletic ability! I believe exercise
and athletics should be fun, to encourage a lifelong positive attitude
towards healthy habits and healthy competition!
