I will celebrate 37 years of marriage this December.  I have two children who 
are teachers also.  My son, Brian, was named a 2008 Teacher of the Year at 
Our Lady of Mercy School where he works.  My daughter, Megan, is an 
outstanding teacher at Wheaton High School working with ESL students.  Brian 
is married to Lori, a teacher at Sandy Springs School,and they have a son.
I am state certified in Special Education and Elementary Education.  With the 
exception of five years when I owned and operated a retail store, I have been 
a teacher of both special students at St. Maurice School, and students in the 
regular school including Lake Normandy Elementary, St. Peter School and here 
at St. Jude.  As of September 2008, I will begin my 26th year of teaching.

All Children Are Special

The mission of this department is to be an advocate for any student that is 
having consistent academic difficulties.  I will provide accommodation 
supports for the teachers and study strategies for the parents.
