Open House February 1
Catch the St. Jude spirit when St. Jude Regional Catholic School opens its doors to the community during Catholic Schools Week 2012.
St. Jude Regional Catholic School will host an open house where prospective students, their families, and the community can learn about the school and its mission to provide high-quality, values-based education. The open house will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 1, from 9-11:30 a.m., 1-2:30 p.m., and 6:30-8 p.m. (Snow date is February 8)
Teachers will be available to speak to prospective families at the evening open house. Admissions information will be available at all times.
St. Jude Regional Catholic School serves students in Pre-Kindergarten (2s and 3s starting in Fall 2012) through 8th grades of all religious, racial, ethnic, and income backgrounds. Its location at 4820 Walbridge Street in Rockville is perfect for commuters, as it is convenient to Veirs Mill Road, Connecticut Avenue, Georgia Avenue, and Rockville Pike. The school offers school bus service to and from St. Francis of Assisi parish in Derwood for our upcounty families.

Faith. Academics. Service. In the spirit of service, SJRCS will participate in an Interfaith Coat Drive, Manna Smart Sacks of nonperishable food and Treat Bags for MC Police Officers and Fire Fighters.

Join The Book Club! February Meeting
6th, 7th, and 8th graders: Do you like to read? Let's get together on the second Friday of each month during lunch recess. There is no cost to join; however, you will be required to obtain (and read) a copy of the book either by individual purchase or the local library. Have a suggestion for a book for the February Book Club meeting - contact Mrs. Poz or Ms. DeZinno.
