Bio:

As someone who is proud to have attended a Catholic middle school
and high school (Ascension & Cardinal Gibbons, respectively) I'm thrilled to
be a part of St. Margaret's community.
I earned a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Psychology
at the University of Maryland. I earned my Master's degree in Teaching, with
a concentration in English for grades 6-12, at the College of Notre Dame of
Maryland. I'm also a Maryland state-certified teacher.
Previously, I taught 10th and 12th grade English in a Harford County
public school. In addition, I've also done some work as a professor with an
online college.
More recently, I've spent the past several years as the National
Customer Service Manager for a filing-systems company based in Holland.
I also work as a freelance writer and I've been the Senior Writer
for a Towson-based advertising agency for more than nine years.
I spend as much time as possible with my family, especially now that
we've been blessed with a daughter. She'll turn four-years-old this
November!
My wife is also a teacher, and we have a yorkie who I'm sure is more
muppet than dog!
When it's time for fun you'll usually find me fishing, hiking, or
playing frisbee & disc golf.
Of course I'm passionate about reading. Whether you read for fun,
for self-education, or even just because something sparks your interest, you
are doing yourself a huge favor. I truly believe that developing a love of
reading can enrich our lives in countless ways!
	See you in the Library!
