What are the requirements for the English Journal?
English Journal Requirements: One journal entry is required each week. The topic will be provided or a free entry will be assigned. Each entry should be on a clean page in your copybook and should be headed with the date and topic. They may be typed on the computer, cut out and glued onto the journal page. Entries may not be written on looseleaf and glued in. This will not be accepted and will be marked as late. Each entry should be completed neatly. Journals will be due every Friday. If school is closed on a Friday the journal will be due that Thursday unless otherwise instructed. Late journals will have two points taken off for each day late. Each journal entry will be worth ten points. Journals will be averaged into the creative writing grade. This book will become a special memory of thoughts and feelings during fourth grade.Back to Top
