to one another they make ONE sound!!! (quit,quilt)
long a strategies: -ay
strategy: usually found at the end of words. (bay,stay,say,lay,May) -ai
startegy: usually found in the middle of words.(brain,train,pain) a with lazy
e strategy (lazy e makes the vowel in the word do all the talking)
long i, u, o and e strategies
with lazy e at the end of the word.
y as a vowel: You
will hear the long e and i sound at the end of the word. (cry,by,very,baby) To
add an ending you must change the y to an i and add your ending. (cry-cries,
try-tries)
