My husband and I have been involved with the St. Margaret community for
over 25 years. I am beginning my ninth year as a teacher at St. Margaret. I
have three sons who graduated from SMS. Our oldest son and his wife are
both graduates of the University of Maryland and have a son who is two years
old and they are expecting another son in November (you may be able to tell I
am a proud grandmother)! Our middle son is studying educational psychology
(Learning and Cognition) in graduate school at Florida State University. Our
youngest son is studying chemistry at William and Mary College in Virginia
(from where both my husband and I graduated many years ago). My husband is a
research scientist in Chemistry. We have a little beagle dog named "Fred"
and you might hear stories about him from time to time!
I am a certified teacher with a Bachelor of Arts degree from William and
Mary. I also have catechist certification through the Archdiocese of
Baltimore.
Fourth grade is a new challenge for you this year, but it is also a new
challenge for me! I have taught both 3rd and 5th grade in school, and 4th
grade religion classes. We will help each other and we will have a great
year.
Growing to be who God wants us to be in spiritual, academic, and social
ways. Our special school-wide theme this year will be "We Can Make A
Difference."
