About The Teacher

Welcome and let me introduce myself....
I studied elementary education and graduated from the University of Maryland,
College Park. My husband, three kids, and I are big TERP fans ! I continued
my education at Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College) in the Masters
of Reading program. I taught first grade and reading resource in the Baltimore
County Public schools for about ten years before coming to St. Margaret
School. This year will be my third year at St. Margaret School.
I believe that one of the most important things to have is a well rounded
education. I also strongly believe in family and values. St.Margaret School
is a great place for both of these things !! That is why I teach at St.
Margaret School !!

I am very excited to have our aide, Mrs. Kate Clark, with us in our class.
She has been an aide for several years in first grade and now in kindergarten.
She is also very involved in St. Margaret School not just as our aide but as
a volunteer/parent too !!

Mission For The Class

There is a book titled "All I Needed to Know, I Learned In
Kindergarten". It is very true, kindergarten is a very special time when
there is so much to learn. It is an important time of overall growth and
development. The children are exposed to a great variety of subjects.

Our mission is to always "try our best" and "to treat others the way you want
to be treated". While doing that we will be able to learn so many things about
reading, writing, math, social studies, science, and religion. We will be
able to learn so much about each other, be able to make new friends, and go
"make a difference" (our school theme for this year).
