About the Class

TEACHER: Mrs. Susan Powers

Mrs. Powers has been teaching for 30 years and has taught at SMS for 16 years. Mrs. Powers has her BA in Education from Loyola College and her graduate work was done at Loyola College, Towson University, and College of Notre Dame. She is a mother of four. Three children are graduates of SMS; the youngest a seventh grader at SMS.

Mission For The Class

We are Mrs. Powers’ 8th grade class, 8P of SMS, wanting to make a difference 
to ourselves and others.  As a class we promise to try our hardest to achieve 
or surpass our goals of respect and peace.  We will accomplish this by 
respecting others, living our faith, working hard in school and getting 
involved in the community including service, recycling, and using our special 
talents to assist others.
