Welcome to 3rd grade at St. Margaret School! This will be my sixth year
teaching, and I am looking forward to the learning and growth we
will all accomplish this year! I wanted to take this opportunity to tell a
little about myself.
I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BBA in Management
Consulting and Sociology. Upon graduation, I knew my true calling was to be
a teacher, so I moved to Baltimore to begin the Operation Teachers Enlisted
to Advance Catholic Heritage (Operation TEACH) program. While in this
program, I taught at Holy Family School, lived in a faith-based community,
and pursued my Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from the College of Notre
Dame of Maryland. I have grown to love teaching, particularly 3rd grade! I
feel truly blessed to now be a part of the St. Margaret community.
Recently, I became a homeowner, purchasing a condo in the heart of Canton. I
enjoy keeping my life busy, spending time in the city with my wonderful
friends. I also love to swim, and hope to return to my masters team when I
am pain-free. I spend the summers coaching a swim team in Millersville for
the Central Maryland Swim League. The true highlight of my summer is my
family's trip to the Outer Banks, where I can spend time with my two nieces,
my two older sisters, their husbands, my younger brother, and my parents.
My top priority as an educator involves creating a classroom environment
that enables all learners. I believe in teaching the individual child, and
molding my students into hard-working, Christian people.
