Dear Head Start Parents, Family and Friends,
You are cordially invited to attend the Annual Head Start Family/Volunteer
Awards Day to be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Tayac Elementary School
Multi-Purpose Room. The program starts at 8:30 am. The children prepared
special numbers as an expression of their appreciation and gratitude for your
love, guidance and constant support. Please send them one(1) black or black
looking (dark brown, dark navy blue, dark gray) oversized T-shirt (that
reaches up to their knees, not necessarily new, could be mom's, dad's or
older sibling's t-shirt) by Friday, May 25, 2012. However, remember that our
classes continue until Friday, June 8, 2012. Thank you very much, see you all
on Wednesday, May 30th.

Dear Head Start Family,
February is National Children's Dental Health month. In honor of this month
and our Head Start children and families, Head Start has planned a dental
field trip for our our students on Monday, February 6, 2012. This is in
partnership with the Prince George's County Health Department and the
Deamonte Driver Project, in order to conduct dental screenings, cleaning and
treatment for our Head Start children. Transportation will be provided and is
scheduled after breakfast. Parents need to sign the consent forms which will
be distributed anytime this week. Thank you for your cooperation and we look
forward to working together in order to continue keeping our children healthy.
