I am retired from the Anne Arundel County Public School System here in
Maryland where I taught music at both Elementary and Middle School levels.
This is my 6th year teaching at Calverton.
On week-ends I am a pianist at St. John Vianney and Jesus The Divine Word
Catholic Churches in Calvert County.
My piano work also includes involvement in weddings, funerals, and
other parish events.
Also, I am the pianist for the Men's Fourth Degree Choir - Knights of
Columbus - Archdiocese of Washington. This prestigious group received the
Honorary Award for the State of Maryland.
I want all children to enjoy the gift of music that we have inside of us.
By learning about melody, harmony, tone color, form, and rhythm, the
children will grow in their appreciation of all kinds of music. By singing,
dancing, and playing instruments, they will use their bodies to enhance
their knowledge.
But above all I want them to have fun. There is nothing more beautiful
than a smile on a child's face.
