About Extended Day

The Calverton School's Extended Day Program offers a safe and nurturing 
extension of the school day beginning at 7am and ending at 6pm.  Assistance 
with homework is provided and meaningful activities, such as indoor and 
outdoor games or crafts, are available. Students receive a continental 
breakfast in the morning and a snack, sometimes prepared by the students 
themselves, in the afternoon. The programs are staffed by a certified Child 
Care Director, Group Leader, Senior Staff, and Aides.
