Introduction

Rainforest Day is almost here and it is your responsibility to tranform our 
pod into a rainforest.  Your group will create a design of a rainforest that 
includes things that live in the rainforest such as:  mammals, 
reptiles,insects, plants, flowers, and trees.  You will also identify the 
different layers of the rainforest and match the living things to the layers. 
Your team will also write a persuasive letter to your teachers, trying to 
convince them that your design of the rainforest is the best and should be 
used as a model to create this year's third grade rainforest. Just think, 
your rainforest design could be transformed into a real life model 
of a rainforest.  Good Luck!
