About Mr. Chiarella

This is my first year here at TRES and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with such wonderful students, staff members, and parents. I have come from a family that values education very much and has produced four Howard County teachers. I grew up in Howard County and attended Elkridge Elementary, Elkridge Landing Middle School, and Howard High School and I recently graduated from Towson University with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Education. GO TIGERS!

In my spare time I love to play sports such as soccer, basketball, lacrosse, and softball. Every once in a while I can be caught settling down and reading a good book (this is of course when I have spare time). I also enjoy traveling and just recently got back from a trip to Morocco and Spain (which are two places that I would highly recommend everyone visit).

Other hobbies of mine include directing musicals and plays with Schoolhouse Theater Arts, Inc. and coaching for Howard County Recreation and Parks. I'm currently directing the after school drama program here at Triadelphia Ridge, as well as, at many other schools in Howard County and I'm always looking for new talent.

Once again, I look forward to working with everyone in the Retriever Community and wish everyone a successful school year. GO RETRIEVERS!
