About The Teacher
I was born in Baltimore and lived near the Baltimore Museum of Art, Memorial Stadium, and Johns Hopkins University. I have lived in Catonsville for the last nineteen years with my husband, Rick. We have a 23 year old daughter named Amanda and a seven year old American Bulldog named Casey Jones. Rick is an aerospace engineer and a gourmet cook. Amanda lives in Fells Point, is a wonderful artist, and learned to cook from her dad. Casey is the best dog ever. We all love to travel, listen to live music, and spend time together in the backyard. We also love sports and follow our favorite teams (Ravens, Orioles, Terps) all over the country. I have been a teacher for thirteen years and my favorite subject is Language Arts. I read and write for pleasure every single day. I look forward to getting to know all of my new students!

Mission
Our mission this year is to expand our knowledge in all subject areas, challenge ourselves with new learning, and continue to develop our already excellent reading skills. We are preparing to enter a new phase in our academic careers and will be working toward developing better organizational and study skills, accepting increased responsibility for our work and behaviors, showing more intiative and leadership qualities, and cultivating a stronger work ethic. This will be a fantastic school year!
