I am beginning my eighteenth year as a music educator in Howard County (four
years in elementary and thirteen years in middle), and I am extremely excited
to be part of the Waverly Elementary School community! I went through
the Howard County Public School System from Kindergarten through twelfth
grade, attended the University of Maryland, College Park for my
undergraduate work (Go Terps!) , and the Peabody Conservatory of Music for my
graduate work. My wife and I are blessed to have a daughter, Mia, who just
turned years old. Our dog Mocha is also a joy.
Outside of my professional life (school, private lessons, and summer camps), I
enjoy spending time with my friends and family (and there is a lot of extended
family), traveling, gardening, listening to music, watching documentaries,
and reading.
